FTP server Cerberus FTP Server is a multi-threaded Windows FTP server that is designed to use little CPU and memory. It comes with an easy to use interface and can be accessed from the system tray. The server is able to listen for connections on multiple interfaces (Multi-homed PCs), resume failed transfers and offers an easy-to-use manager for controlling user access to files and file operations. Connections limit and timeout and IP access can be controlled by the administrator as well as thread priority settings. In addition, Cerberus FTP Server supports secure SSLv3/TLSv1 encryption, IP security and offers statistics on connections as well as logging abilities. The server adheres to to RFC959 and RFC1123. Can run as NT service. Free for personal use.

This server is surprisingly easy to setup and the help documentation is some of the best I've seen. The install took 60 seconds and the server was online and ready to share files from the minute I started it. Active Directory authentication was extremely simple to enable. This is the only file server I would use. Why have a complicated feature full software package when all you need is right here. There are a few things I don't even use with Cerberus. Among the best and I would recommend to friends/family/colleagues immediately. showShow review details

I have tried many FTP servers in an attempt to give friends and family access to things such as wedding pictures, drawings I have done, and files they wished to have. I have found that many FTP server programs can be confusing and hard to understand to say the least. Cerberus is by Far the easiest to setup and manage that i have ever used. A person looking for a FTP server that has the power and features to get the job done, need look no farther. BEST of All Its free for personal use.
